According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as of the end of May, the total number of 5G base stations in my country reached 1.7 million, accounting for 16.7% of the total number of mobile base stations, an increase of 2.4 percentage points from the end of the previous year. Among them, 275,000 5G base stations were newly built from January to May.
The data also shows that since May 5, the number of 900 million Internet access ports nationwide has reached 1.03 billion, an increase of 12.38 million from the end of the previous year. 19.31 million, an increase of 95.1% from tens of thousands.
